Kristen is a friend of David's who attends BYU and works at the MTC. She sent me this message on Monday, Sept 27:
"Fabienne! I saw David at the MTC this morning! He looked so wonderful. Since I couldn't hug him we just shook hands a lot. He told me to tell you that he hasn't had much time to write, but he will do his best to write soon. His P-Day is Friday just in case he hadn't told you. He also wanted me to tell you that HE WAS MADE A ZONE LEADER!! He seemed pretty excited and I'm sure you will hear all about it in his next letter".
